Depends on the company I guess, I made friends for life there. It's pretty basic, but the walk in showers are nice lol. Kitchen is decent, rooms are small but you'll make it your own for the year and end up loving it. I wouldn't call it party central, but Telford is around the corner and you can go gatecrash parties there and let them clean up in the morning. The hall really doesn't matter, the whole experience of freshers, learning a subject you enjoy, meeting new people and experiencing new things is worth every penny. I would do it all again.
