North Western Halls vs Marybone Halls

I am due to begin a BA Fine Art course at LJMU this September. Currently I am stuck between deciding which of these would be a better place to live for me. Is there anyone who lives or has lived in these halls who is able to say what their experience was like? I am somewhat concerned about North Western Halls potentially being an unsociable place considering it has no communal areas.
