Need some help!

Hi there! Is anyone able to shed some light on this task for me?

The tasks are: dividing a piece of A4 card into ten equal sized rectangles can then be used to create a tetrahedron and an octahedron. The dimensions of these rectangles however are only approximate.

Task 1 is to calculate the exact ratio between the length and the width (of the rectangle) if we know the width is unit length. Write your solution in surd form.



Task 2: A combination of a tetrahedron and an octahedron (of the same edge length) will fill 3-D space. Your task now is to try to prove this by calculating the dihedral or the solid angles of a tetrahedron and an octahedron.

Since the faces of a tetrahedron are triangles, how do you create one using rectangles?
