Me too :h: very interesting, loved the one with the croc, all their emotions coming through and dealing with it etc. Can't wait for the next one :colone: I certainly wouldn't last long there.

Imagine if they didn't have a knife and had to beat the crocodile to death with a coconut.
I'm liking it too, seems like a great experience. I also find it funny how when Bear Grylls speaks he makes every sentence sound so dramatic, as if it's the end of the world.

I respect Bear Grylls and the lifestyle he has. However, this program is absolutely ridiculous. If those men were really on that island alone, they wouldn't have survived past a couple of days. Just another big set-up like all the other **** reality TV shows. Really disappointed Bear Grylls is involved in it to be honest, he didn't have to stoop that low. All his 'real' shows are informative and interesting. Just seems like a bit of a waste to be honest.
What episode is the crocodile in? I am still on the first episode, and they haven't even lit a fire yet...
Watching them attempt to light a fire is hilarious. Love Bear Grylls.

2 of the men have worked with Bear Grylls before and they put 2 crocodiles on the island themselves.
ryan9900 is right, it's ****. Funny how they are filming this in the Pacific Islands yet found a Caiman there, despite the fact Caimans are found exclusively in the Americas .

I've watched a load of these survival series' and this is by far the worst.

Bear Grylls is just a bloke that will drink piss on camera.

Caiman are found throughout the Pacific, including in Tonga and Fiji. Oh, and Hawaii.
I'm completely hooked, love the concept. At first I was skeptical but it seems legit. The guys really do look like they're losing weight, and last time were covered in bug bites, so I tend to believe it. Hope they do a female version next time.

Check Man, Woman, Wild. It's a bloke from the US military and his wife and the wife is new to survival skills. Entertaining.
Bear is my Scout Chief. Absolutely great guy.
Anyone see episode 4 yesterday? It wasn't as good as the other episodes, but it seems like we're getting this bad guy thing going now...

Just like Big Brother...
It is certainly very interesting, especially since there is a such a large variety in the ages and personalities of the people being filmed. I did have very mixed emotions about the crocodile episode; I just think that the whole thing was a bit of a mess which is only fair since it's their first time but the kill didn't look too clean either
A little explicit, a hilarious parody:

I don't like Ryan or Rupert, the camp doctor seems like a nice bloke though, perhaps too nice when I'm stressed and hungry though.
I heard it was all fake

All I've heard is they put a Cayman there, what else have you heard? They did seem to catch it remarkably easy though..
The producers planted food on the island like that weird potato thing so that they would have enough food to eat, and they encourage the people to send them samples of food they are unsure of so that they can verify whether it is safe to eat. It's still really good though.
