Medical School A-levels

Is food tech a bad as level to do alongside chemistry biology and maths to get into medical school?

I wouldn't really recommend doing Home Economics.. your fourth subject should be more academic-based and contrasting such as History, Geography, RS, English or a foreign language. However, have a look at this:

It doesn't mention Home Economics but I'd play it safe and go for one of the subjects listed above.

I'm applying for Medicine in my gap year (this September) and I do Chemistry, Biology, Maths and German.
