Applications opened today, but you can't confirm with a deposit until July since that's when they allocate accommodation.

You have to pay the deposit within 7 days of recieving your offer, and they're not going to allocate rooms for a while yet, to the best of my knowledge. I was told July when I emailed them, but just to be safe I'd aim to have the deposit ready by April since that's what the website says. =]
