Highers & Advanced Highers

It's the last minute but I still have time to alter my subject choices. Some people have told me to get as many Highers as I can (8) so that I'll have a broad range of subjects, while others have advised me to do at least 1 advanced higher. Currently I'm studying H Maths, H Accounts, H Spanish & AH History. I have As for Nat5 & Higher History, I know I can do it, however I'm not at all passionate about the subject. I guess I'm doing it for all the wrong reasons - simply because if I don't I won't be doing any Advanced Highers as I'm not keen on continuing any other of my Higher A subjects.
(English & Computing)

I want to do an accountancy degree, so with that in mind, I'm considering replacing AH History with H Business Management. Would this be a wise move or would I regret it? Do Advanced Highers give you an edge when applying to uni? I feel like Business is more relevant, but I'll have to drop history (my only AH) to do it.

Thanks
Honestly just do what you want, unless you would be getting a conditional offer most uni's don't care about what AH's you take.

On a side note, do you want to be an accountant? Just telling you that most accountancy firms prefer to hire school leavers instead of graduates because they can train them and specialise them faster. I don't know why this is but my friend got 4 no awards at higher and is sitting now with a 19k a year apprenticship for business marketing (originally for accounting but he had to go to england for that and wanted to stay in scotland)

so make sure you ask around and look at other routes too, because I also know someone with a HND (i think) in accounting who cant get a job because employers are looking at school leavers first, then uni graduates, then collage ones.
