i saw a member that attended the European Baccalaureate and was just wondering what is the difference between the European Baccalaureate and the International Baccalaureate?

The two have nothing to do with each other really. It's the same as the difference between the IB and A-levels say. They're just two completely separate exam systems. Although there may perhaps be more similarities between the two, than between either of them and A-levels, they still are completely independent of each other. I don't know anything about the International Baccalaureate myself, because I'm doing the European one. A lot fewer people know about the European Bacc., because there are far fewer schools, and therefore far fewer students that do it (I think there are 13 European Schools in total). For example, a friend of mine, when she had applied to Cardiff, was made a conditional offer, but the grades they asked for made no sense at all (I think they asked her for a "14" or something, when we actually get marks out of ten - so she was pretty confused) and it turned out, that they had confused the EB with the IB.

Here's some info about the EB, which I've taken from the homepage of the European School Culham (the only one in the UK)...
