Acting & Drama Audition Pieces
Hey all.
I have a contemporary piece for some of my auditions.
The character in the piece is "in his fifties". I am nineteen.
This piece could be done by somebody of the age of twenty upwards though, as a person at the age of twenty, or even nineteen could be in the same situation. The monologue also makes no reference to age.
Would you think this is suitable, regardless of the "choose something in your age range" tip. It is honestly something I like, and is a brilliant piece of writing.
Apart from that feel free to use this thread to talk about your own audition monologues for Drama School, University, National Youth Theatre and any other endeavors you embark on!
