1) (1/8)-(15x/16)+(75x^2/16)-(625x^3/32)

2) 0.6595 for missing value
1.083 for estimate
(8/3)ln2 -(7/9)

3) dy/dx= (-4xy-2)/(2x^2+4+piSinpiY)
X value was (3pi +62)/(pi+22)

4) X= 60e^-2.5t
633 mins nearest minute

5) (-5root3)/16
Q: (4,5root3)

6) not sure about A- partial fractions integration. 3ln(3y+2) -2lnY + c
Show substitution
(4pi/3) -root3

7) k was 8.5, volume was 1696pi /5

8) a was 3,5,0
K equals 2 (AP was 2root2)
Cos= 4/5
E was same as what others have said

Agree with all

x=60e^2.5t

what was your t in days before you converted it to minutes?

x=60e^2.5t

well ****, I put t in terms of x

For the solid question, working out just the solid between k (think 7/2?) and 1/2, how many marks am I likely to get?

Probably only 1 cuz you already did that integral in the first part of the question.

Grade boundary predictions?

Probably pretty high

Must have got confused then haha. 12/5 for area of the triangle?

Yeah i got 12/5 for the area

My full solutions:

1) 1/8 - 15/16 x + 75/16 x^2 - 625/32 x^3

2) 0.6595, 1.083, 8/3 ln(2) - 7/9

3) (-2-4xy)/(2x^2 + 4 + pisin(0.5pi)), (3pi+62)/(pi+22)

4) x=e^(ln(60)-2.5t)), 633 mins

5) (-5root(3)/16), (4,5root3)

6) 3ln(3y+2)-2ln(y)+c, lambda=8, 3pi/3 - root3

7) k=17/2, 1696pi/5

8) {3,5,0}, r = {1,5,2} + lambda{-5,4,3}, k=2, cos(theta)=4/5, area=12/5, possible positions {3, 33/5, 16/5} and {-1, 17/5, 4/5}

all the same except Q6 should be 4pi/3-root3

Yea wording was tricky, it said x in terms of t.
i've made a ton of careless mistakes
damnnnn how have i messed up that volume question ffs
Original post by ryanroks1
What did everyone get for the normal question where you had to find X? I remember 22 + pi being on the bottom?

3pi + 62 for the top?

what was your t in days before you converted it to minutes?

0.4395 or something like that in days. Then you multiply by 1440 because that's how many minutes in a day.
how many marks was the volume question worth? i forgot to fkn square it

3pi + 62 for the top?

Yep - what a shock, was sooo convinced I'd ****** that up!
How was the area 12/5. I got 4
Original post by ryanroks1
Wasn't it 60e^-2.5t?

Its the same. You can add ln60 to the power of e if you want the coefficient to be 1
Original post by Mattematics
Agree with all of these. Need to double check my volume, 512pi -somethingpi? Think I also got 4/3pi -root3?

pretty sure my volume was 512pi -(1024/5)pi, left it as this as was rushing
Original post by Marshmallow21

0.5 x 2root2 x 2root2 x sin(30 something)

I can't remember the value of the sin but it's whatever cos(4/5) is

Ahh yes of course
was the volume question 4 marks?
