Documentary hoping to speak to Birmingham students applying to University

A small team from an award-winning production company, The Garden Productions are making a television documentary series in and around Birmingham, exploring Muslim life in Britain today.

This Channel 4 series will explore the everyday life of the surrounding community. As part of this we are keen to speak to and include young Muslim women and friends who are deciding on whether to go to University and into higher education. We would love to know how you are getting on with your choices, which Universities you are interested in and the choices surrounding this. The aim of this series is to hear from ordinary Muslims in the area and make a series that fairly represents Muslim life in Britain.

This series is due to transmit this year on Channel 4 and it is being made by The Garden; a London-based television production company, with a reputation for making intelligent, thoughtful and innovative documentaries. We have built a strong reputation for access-driven documentary series including 24 Hour in A&E, 24 hours in Police custody, the landmark series Keeping Britain Alive (BBC TWO) where we filmed with 63 hospital trusts on the same day, the critically acclaimed Inside Claridge's (BBC TWO) that focused on a year behind the scenes at this iconic hotel, as well as Inside Tatler (BBC TWO), showing the inner workings at the high-society magazine and the recent high-ratings series The Motorway (BBC TWO) that focused on the people keeping the M6 moving.
