The "your mother's dead scene"
Literally cried my eyes out at this scene because i saw this movie around the time my mother told me she had breast cancer.
I thank God that she fought it and is alive and well
Regardless, this scene made me cry like a 2 year old child, and I'm 18.

I remember that the ending to 'The Elephant Man' hit me so intensely at the time that the idea of seeing it again in the future made me feel slightly anxious.
