Hello , my dream is to study engineering in Oxford. My study program is IB and im in 10th grade. So my story is that I always was average at school (English is my second language), until one day my math tutor suggested to try out for oxford university ( i guess she was joking, well I took it seriously) and now my goal is to study at oxford. I am taking Math&Physics HL next year and I need a 7 in both, I plan to study all summer in order to prepare, ok now to the point. If I get the minimum 40 points and 7's in math& physics will oxford accept me even though I did poorly in other grades? and what grades do they look at?

P.S. I'm very passionate about my subject and I'm really determined to work hard.

Hey I am also doing IB.
As far as I know your previous grades matter a lot but you can still cover that up if you do well in IB.
    Where are you from?
Still you have to have good GCSE and AS levels (or their equivalent)? I do not know how bad/good they were?
