hey everyone, this is my first post on the student room, so forgive me if i am doing it wrong but i am studying as politics and am finding it very difficult to apply knoweledge such as current affaires. my teacher has set me this question and i am so confused as to what current affairs i could use if anyone can help please do, thank you
Hey there. Welcome to the insanity that is the TSR

I was set this question a few weeks ago as homework. Things to include are things such as the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 which allowed for the creation of the Supreme Court in 2009 which officially recognised the independece of the judiciary for the first time, the issue with Liz Truss and the Daily Mail's reporting on the high court's Brexit case, mention how the courts though are actually getting more and more involved in politics again with their roles in inquiries such as the Leveson inquiry and their involvement in the Brexit ruling.
