Translation help for WJEC Level 2 Latin Core Language Paper

Hi, I was wondering if I my translation is correct:

paucas post horas naves Romanorum Britanniae appropinquabant = after a few days, the ships of the Romans were approaching Britian.

Thank you.

Without having the paper to hand, your translation makes the most sense to me, namely that the ships of the Romans would be approaching Britain. 'appropinquo' takes a dative, so that explains 'Britanniae'.

So, in short, I would say that you are correct with your translation!
Thank you
