Parts of maths curriculum that are over-formulated - undergrad/ high school watch

    Hi,

    I've came across a few things that seem too over-formulated and can distract from the intuition, but are not springing to mind right now .


    For e.g , imo, I see no need for the quotient rule when there is a product rule.

    Can anyone think of any other examples?
