Our school is known for pessimistic and conservative predicted grades. I know people in the year above who were predicted 7s, get 8/9s in their school tests and got like 9s/8s in their actual exams for English and maths, and the same goes for As/A*s.

Even my sister, who was predicted like 5 Bs, only got 1B, and 1 A* and ended up with 6.

In general, you probably have a better idea of what you can get than the school has, as they can be subject to bias.

No they change in Y11. In october, and then in december. Thats what it is like in my school anyway
Schools normally tend to set predicted grades to be a grade higher than what students get in their mock exams. You can definitely achieve higher grades than you're predicted if you work well from now until your real exams. It isn't too late- you've still got plenty of time

e.g I got a grade 5 for maths in my school mock exams and was predicted a grade 6, but I worked hard after January and got a grade 9 in the real GCSE exam!!!
Here they are (and bear in mind several teachers may have exaggerated in order to reflect on themselves better. It wouldn't be the first time):

English Language - 9 (haha, like that's going to happen)
English Literature - 9 (see above)
Maths - 9 (slightly more confident with this one, though I'm more likely to get an 8)
Double Science - A* (if I can remember all those definitions it shouldn't be too hard)
French - A* (if I do well on the listening)
German - A* (see above)
History - 9 (yeah, no)
Geography - 8 (case studies are the bane of my existence)
Classical Civilisation - 9 (fairly easy compared to my other subjects)
Ancient Greek - 8 (hoping I can get a 9 but I don't want to bet on it)
Further Maths - A** (though I don't understand matrices at all)

Good luck to everyone else
The official predicted grades I got were 877AAAAAAA, my teachers predicted were 987A*A*A*A*A*A*A* and I actually achieved 999A*A*A*A*A*A*A

They fluctuated quite a bit depending on the topic we were doing
I think chemistry went as low as C at some point but I ended up getting an A*
