I got an E in my music GCSE.

Not sure why you think it's not technically a gcse.
Is it a gcse, just not a very good one.
You are required to declare it on your UCAS application.

GCSEs grade D-G are level 1 qualifications and have to be declared the same as level 2 qualifications (grades A*-C) along with U grades. If you do not declare and and universities find out your application can be declared fraudulent and offers/places can be withdrawn
