Are abbreviations of words (e.g. conc. , temp. , no.) accepted in exam answers?

Are abbreviations of words e.g. conc. ( instead of "concentration") , temp. ("temperature") , no. ("number"), accepted in AQA A level exam answers in subjects such as Biology and Chemistry

Saves so much time when I do practice papers and my teacher still marks the answer if I use them, but will they be accepted in the real exams?

I’m pretty sure for AQA Biology they aren’t accepted. My teacher went to some teacher training thing with AQA and they said they don’t except them anymore.
