Hello all, I have a question plplssps help me
While doing physics IGCSE past papers i noticed that my answers are always more accurate than the markscheme and do not appear in the markscheme.
For example one of my answers was 12.8 volts however the markscheme rounded to 13 volts and had no mention of 12.8
Another example is that i got a value of 5.95 for force and the markscheme gave the answer as 6.
As adviced in other papers i write my answers to 3 sf. But in the markschemes all answers seem to be rounded to the nearest integer.
Will i loose marks in an exam if i write my answers to 3sf but on the markscheme the answer is to nearest integer?
eg if my answer is not exactly the markscheme answer but close? As in more accurate eg markcheme answer=6 volts VS My answer = 5.95 volts. Would i get the mark>
Thanks

Well when I gave my olevels, I gave my answers to 3 sf and it didn’t effect my grade, so maybe it doesn’t matter! I don’t know for sure though
