Also , to measure distance you could use trigonometrical parallax right ?

Yeah that's what I put because it said it was a close star, presumed parallax would have been fine

I could have done well if I actually revised because that paper was alright... ugh

lol same, the content wasnt even hard

Angle of refraction?

Angle of refraction?

76 I think I got
plz say i wasnt the only one that found that quite hard

I did 1.47 sin (28) = sin (theta)
theta was 44 degrees, but from the undeviated line it would be 44-28=16 degrees

Dw I found that harder than last year, most of the questions were non standard bar like the particle one

Got 42-45 degrees for the angle of refraction

Got 42-45 degrees for the angle of refraction

I also got 44 degrees but they asked for the angle from the deviated line, not the normal, so I think you have to minus 28 to get 16 degrees

Damn I got 44 to but honestly I didn’t have time to read the questions that paper was longgg

Yep i did both too

Not too sure, but I put in the wavelength into Wien's Law to get a temperature which is 4000K and said that's way higher than room temperature. Alternatively, some classmates put in Temperature as 298 (273+25) to find a wavelength which is a lot longer than red light.

I got this, caught myself at last second and noticed that the 62 degrees was from the plane not the normal
What did everyone get for that 12 hour elliptical orbit question? I think I got 4.1 hours for the circular period so the statement is inaccurate

I think i got like 11.9 hours? could be wrong though i didn't check
