Normal for musicians to be interested in many instruments?

I'm a guitar player, electric guitar and I love it!

But I'm interested in a lot of different music. Had a go at piano yesterday and it was fun!

Today, felt like I wanted to try bass

While I enjoyed playing the piano yesterday, I went back to my guitar after and no instrument feels as good as my guitar!

My question, is it normal for musicians to experiment and play different instruments? I know I will never be Van Halen or Joe Satriani and am just doing this out of interest and enjoyment
Some do , some don't (I stick with keys and guitar) But I'm proud to know several musicians who really do just live & breathe it, can generally get a tune out of anything and always trying something new, It's a cracking skill.
I'd say it's very normal to dabble with different things, but most musicians will have a "main" instrument that they always feel most comfortable on.
Well, I just play guitar and I really want to learn to play the piano, drums, and sax

I can see the infatuation as every instrument has it's own little quirks etc
