Pharmaceutical science transfer to pharmacy???

I recently opted to do a pharmaceutical science course but have realised that it is totally different to pharmacy. I don’t have enough grades to do pharmacy right now but can do pharmaceutical science. Is it possible to transfer to pharmacy after my first year?? Also would I be doing an extra year then? Help😭
What other careers are there with pharmaceutical sciences?
I wanted to be a pharmacist

Hi. Doing PCS you can transfer to Pharmacy if you get 65% in the chemistry modules and 60% across the rest. After u transfer you will start on year 1 pharmacy

Right so that means the first year of doing PCS will be wasted? Great thanks anyway. Which career pathway would you reccomend?
