Gcse biology equivalent test

I'm currently an adult learner and I'm applying for Derby University next year to do my primary teaching, they've said they will accept a science biology equivalency but now the company I was going to use only offer higher level and I only wanted to do foundation, can anyone advise me if they've sat a foundation biology equivalent test anywhere?
