The Pupillage Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2021

Have any pupillage hopefuls heard back from sets about interview ?(reference to those sets who were recruiting outside the May deadline timetable)

Waiting to hear back from Regency Chambers but I’m presuming it’s a rejection

does anyone have any experience of only one interview rather than two? is it more of a chat as opposed to legal/debate topics

I had one like that at Jason Elliots. It started off as a chat but then they asked more 'business'-like questions such as "What could you do to market our chambers?"

Anyone heard from Halycon or Central?

oh right is see, i’m not familiar with that Chambers, is it a commercial set / employed bar?

we have been given a written exercise to submit in advance so i’m thinking that is probably in place of the second interview submission task some chambers give 30 mins before.
