Funding opportunities for PhD in Australia as a UK National

Hi all!

I've received an unconditional offer to study for a PhD in Psychology at the University of Sydney, Australia from July 2021. I applied for an Australian Government Research Training Programme (RTP) Scholarship to fund this research degree. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in obtaining this scholarship, despite having a strong academic background and research potential (I am a qualified clinical psychologist in the UK). I have contacted the RTP scholarships department to find out if I am eligible for the next round in November 2021, though it doesn't look hopeful.

Does anyone know of any other funding options that might be available to me as an international post-graduate student? I have had to defer my PhD until January 2022, while I source alternative funding.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
