preparing for Sales and Trading applications
I am an incoming MSc Finance student and would then like to go into Sales and Trading, any advice on what i should do over summer in order to make my September applications stand out? Any courses that i should do?
Try to look for summer internships if possible. Obv the BBs are off limits at this stage, but boutique firms/ small trading shops should still have opportunities for you. Doesn't necessary have to be S&T, anything decent will be fine. While looking for summers, apply for off-cycle internships as well (starting asap so that they don't clash with your Master's dissertation). On top of all that, network, network, network! Finance is probably the most relationship-based industry out there.
