Would 76% be a B or an A

I study English Language at A-level and we recently did a mock paper 2 which I got the results back for today. I achieved 76/100 and initially I thought this would probably be a B and I know it’s dependent on grade boundaries but I’d like other peoples opinions. I’ve seen online that 80% is an A* so this means 76% could be an A?
As you've correctly pointed out, grade boundaries can have an effect on the grade which a certain mark awards, but I think 70-79% is generally regarded as a B, or at least it was during my A-Levels. A was 80-89% and A* 90-100%. If the majority of people did worse than expected then you could see it bumped up to an A, but I'm not sure how likely that would be.
