Error in Mark scheme

Idk if I need to reconsider my whole A level maths but I can’t seem to see how they get -29/10?

This is an error right?

I'd need to see the whole question to be sure but it looks like the typo is in the second line. The second term should be -64/45 not -64/15. That is then equal to the last line.

TBH, I'm not sure why Notnek added the caveat - it's clear it should be 64/45 instead of 64/15.

As mentioned above this is a clear typo that you can see quite easily if you read the whole solution.

In other cases where the error is less obvious you can check the original integral on your calculator in a few seconds? In this case, you will get 6.656.. confirming your suspiscion that the given solution is incorrect.

The Pearson Solution Bank has quite a few errors so use it with care and try to use other ways of checking before you think of giving up on maths.
