Does any of the branches of philosophy hold more priority than others?
Or is it completely dependent on the person.

Not sure. Is working out who shaves the barber if the barber shaves other people, really that important? Does it add more value than understanding how say aesthetic alters human behaviour. I would say that both have their values, and you cannot say one is better than the other.
