Okay, thanks! But I was looking at chemguide and it covers free radical substitution and also free-radical addition, such as the polymerisation of ethene, I'm not sure if that's included in the a level aqa spec?

Im not certain but I think that's polymers so its aqa alevel year 2 content

It is only the free radical substitution reaction with alkanes...you do not need to know that polymerisation is free radical addition but you do need to know addition polymerisation is and recognise their monomers and polymers
