I am not an expert but Warwick for private equity? I doubt that.

Oxbridge? Maybe LSE would suffice. Obviously some people do get in from other universities, but on a regular basis? Unlikely.

Is warwick PPE good enough for top PE?

Not out of undergrad, no. You're pretty much competing with Oxbridge grads. PE firms hardly recruit at undergrad and if they do it's going to be a very minute in-take.

Otherwise, best route is through IB then recruit for PE firms.

Deffo LSE. Consulting firms are much more difficult to get into than IB.

Could you name some of the firms you're talking about?

Are we talking McKinsey, Bain and BCG, or does the above apply for Deloitte, PWC and Accenture etc as well

Partners at MBB + LinkedIn searching.

Nope, I imagine they would be inbetween but, I have no idea really.

Do you know these partners from TSR?

I've been doing the LinkedIn searches too, yeah LSE is dominant, but I wonder how dominant, given that I'm sure Warwick would have less applicants.
For something in finance, equity or IB:

Durham L100 econ BA

OR

LSE N200 management bsc

No, they're family friends and people I've met from work experience/getting awards etc.

Either. The question is, which course would you prefer?

Just going off of rep, then deffo LSE - pretty much banker breeding ground.

Meh you'd be surprised, there's a fair few higher up bankers (or at least used to be)

I'm (genuinely) pretty undecided on the courses - they do both appeal to me! Does LSE offer better networking/internships (if you happen to know)

LSE is the banker breeding ground. If you don't want a uni experience and just want a job as IB then sure LSE is perfect.

Is the social/nightlife side of LSE really that bad??
