Responsibility in Jekyll and Hyde
Hi, please can someone help me plan an English essay on the theme of responsibility in Jekyll and Hyde? (there’s no question because this is prep for my exam)
I don't do the same text but I plan like this:
What was the purpose of the author to i.e warn, criticise etc?
How does the theme/character develop through the text?
Any characters/ themes that help your understanding of the character/theme?
Does any conext develop your understanding of the question?
Quotations from key sections relevant to the question
How does language and structure change/ is used?
Then I isolate the focus of the question to gain ideas
i.e Show how leadership is presented in ...
Connotations of leadership example:
- Assertive
- Responsible
- Cautious
- Decisive
- Dominant
