Define: Adult stem cells

A type of stem cell found in specific location in adults.
Adult stem cells can only differentiate into a limited number of related cell types.

Is this explanatin correct?

It seems right, except that they are not found only in adults, they are found in children and babies as well. They are found in specific locations in the body.

First there is a difference between pluripotent and adult stem cells. While pluripotent stem cells aren't specified and still able to become all possible kind of cells, adult stem cells are specified to a certain kind of cells and can just differentiate into types.

So if your statement is that the adult stem cells are fixed to cell types, yes, that is right.
