I need help with design and technology

Can anyone help with advantages and disadvantages of nuts and bolt and rivet design and technology ? I tried googling but it’s not coming up

i'm late but:

rivets
+ can be hammered or popped
+ temp/permanent joining
+ good for when underside of metal is inaccessible
+ for sheet metals
+ can be drilled out if need be
+ cheap
+ easy to use

- has to be done by human
- not the strongest type of joint

nuts and bolts
+ can be tightened
+ special nyloc nuts have nylon coat to stop it from digging into material
+ good for when repairs are needed

- may slip
- has to be done by human
