Mock exams

How much I hate thee!

Do mock exams really go towards anything else apart from an estimated grade? I did mocks back in June and did okay and the supposed estimated grades were passed on to the exam board; now I've been told I've got to do more next week for an estimaed grade for the same exam board! For anyone with experience, does the first one count for nothing or are these second exams just done to give us more practice? :frown:

Mock exams are just MOCKS, they aren't the real thing and technically count towards nothing.

They just give your teachers an idea of where you stand and prepare you for exam conditions.

They are called mocks.
they are just mocks. they don't count for anything unless you have a real reason why you can't sit the real exam (i.e. you are taken into hospital with apedacitas)
They're just to give you some experience of the environment of an exam. The only thing i can think of them counting for are for teachers to decide which paper to put you on ( Higher/ Foundation) and to go on reports.
