Billboard warns of oncoming vehicle on M6
I drove along the M6 last night and saw messages saying 'Oncoming vehicle'.
Has anyone seen these before?
There was then gridlock up ahead and 999 services ran to the scene. There was a fire.
A lane was then opened after a bit to let some people through.
Would have this been the reason ? That the oncoming vehicle caused a fire?

I'm not sure why you'd ask TSR??? I just searched M6 fire and news article on Manchester Evening News popped up explaining why there was a fire.

Just I like to be careful who I ask and some people won't have had the same experiences as me.

We came off junction 11 last night , seen the signs of oncoming vehicle ,but couldn't quite see what was happening as we went over the fly over
