There's been no predictions yet from the YouTube English teachers and it's getting pretty close to exams, so does anybody have any ideas of what the questions may be on?
I do An Inspector Calls, Macbeth, A Christmas Carol and the Power and Conflict poetry anthology, but please post any other set text predictions as I'm sure other people will find them useful

Hey, A 12 student here. Due to COVID ,schools could remove one play, novel or the poetry anthology booklet.Everyone still had to do a Shakespearean text. I did an Inspector Calls, Macbeth, A Christmas Carol but the love and relationship poetry anthology was taken out for my school.
MrSallesTeachesEnglish is an amazing youtube channel. He also correctly predicted the general/topic of questions of the novels/plays I mentioned above.
I'm not sure on the other texts. The prediction videos were also posted during may/late April last year.

inspector calls is most likely to be all about the inspector as they has not been a question about him yet or sheila eric is most unlikely to come up as he has came up several times
also does any1 know the question for acc and macbeth for the 2022 exams

There has been a question about Sheila before, but only one so I guess she may come up again. I've had a look through the past papers and I've got a few untested characters or themes that we can narrow things down from:
Untested characters as yet: - The Inspector - Eva Smith - Sybil Birling
Untested themes as yet: - Young vs Older Generation - Capitalism vs Socialism
The theme questions have generally been broad so it's difficult to identify a single theme they encompass, but looking through them all, these seem to be the ones that have been least questioned about.

thanks do you think you will be able to try and predict a christmas carol and macbeth thnx this was useful as i can use it to revise
Hey there, last year the question for AIC I think was on Eric or Society so I doubt they would come up this year. It could possibly be the inspector this year. Last year power and conflict was Bayonet charge so i guess you could rule that out. I’m thinking it could be Exposure/ Storm on the Island or Checking out me history/ The Emigree. But not too sure tbf.

Thank you that's really helpful. I think you're right about the poetry, 3/4 poems that have come up - War Photographer (2019), Remains (2020) and Bayonet Charge (2022) - are all conflict poems but in 2018 Ozymandias (a power poem) came up. So I think there is a good chance that one of the power poems is going to be on the paper.
