Manchester accommodation

I'm deciding on my Manchester accommodation and have heard that Fallowfield is the place to be. I'm happy with being placed in Unsworth, Sheavyn, or Richmond but can't decide on my two last options. I'm thinking about Woolton and Ashburne but some people have said that they are both very dull. Im also thinking about accommodation in Victoria Park like Burkhardt but im worried that the social life there is poor. I would appreciate any advice about any of these accoms.

Also, because im applying late, is my chance of getting into Unsworth basically 0?

The time you apply has no factor on their decisions- all accommodation decisions come out at the same time, but it is worth noting that you may get none of your options. Unsworth is also ridiculously expensive, but the only accommodation in fallow that actually has decent living conditions
