7a) A is a point (2,-5) B is a point (4,-9) . Show the gradient passing through the points is -2.
7b) C is the point (-301,601)
Does C lie on the straight line passing through A and B?
(i need help in 7b)

Few ways you can do it,
1) Find the cartesian equation for the line (y=mx+c) and sub in the either the x or y value of C into it. C will lie on the line if the you get the other x/y value when you solve it
2) Calculate the gradient from A to C. C will lie on the line if the gradient is the same
