7a) A is a point (2,-5) B is a point (4,-9) . Show the gradient passing through the points is -2. 7b) C is the point (-301,601) Does C lie on the straight line passing through A and B? (i need help in 7b)
Few ways you can do it, 1) Find the cartesian equation for the line (y=mx+c) and sub in the either the x or y value of C into it. C will lie on the line if the you get the other x/y value when you solve it 2) Calculate the gradient from A to C. C will lie on the line if the gradient is the same
