Seems fairly straightforward. You have worked out the derivative, so you know the gradient of the tangent at x = alpha. They tell you the tangent passes through the origin so its equation is y = mx where m is the gradient at x = alpha. Now just plug your values for x (i.e. alpha) and y(at x = alpha) and rearrange. Should drop out in a couple of lines :smile:
