Leeds vs York (Economics)

I've got offers from both Leeds and York for Economics, ABB and BBB respectively, and i'm struggling to decide which ones better for me.

I prefer leeds as a city, got family already studying there, i've heard a few things about York having worser city, apparently everthing shuts after 5pm, theres not much to do, whereas Leeds is very lively.

Looked at both modules and both pretty similar, but at york Dissertation isnt compulsory. Really sturggling on deciding so if anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated

Have you visited both universities on open and offer holder days? And had a look around the cities? If so, did you have a preference at the time? It's worth just weighing up all the pros and cons and decided what is most important to you. They are both good offers and the universities are on par with each other academically so it will just come down to where you feel you would be more comfortable.
