ECON254 Theory of the Firm
PHIL271 Business Ethics

Not sure which one to choose out of the above optional modules for the second year of accounting and finance at the university of liverpool ^^ could anyone provide some help on if its easy or not? as a pre-warning i don't like maths so would prefer less of the numbers in the module. and preferably easier assignments than the other two modules

This makes very little sense.

You don't like maths yet you are doing an accounting and finance degree. I get accounting does simple maths so it's not even worth mentioning, but finance involves quite a bit of maths. Why do the degree knowing you would be coming across this hurdle?

This is a stats module, using a very archaic stats software. You won't need to do any complicated maths, since a lot of it would be straightforward interpretation. However, I don't like the stats software, and stats modules at uni tend to be very awkward with how they award you marks.
Statistics like this is considered a life skill and can in fact make very big impact on organisations (data analysis and business analysis being big contributors to businesses).

This is a straightforward business economics module. Out of the 3, this would use the most maths. If you don't like calculations that's roughly AS Level Maths, then avoid this. See the following for the notes for this module: https://www.studocu.com/en-gb/course/university-of-liverpool/theory-of-the-firm/2043663

PHIL271 Business Ethics (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/info/portal/pls/portal/tulwwwmerge.mergepage?p_template=m_bl&p_tulipproc=moddets&p_params=%3Fp_module_id%3D191417)
This module is about stakeholder analysis and corporate responsibility. As a maths person, it's material like this that sends me to sleep or frustrates the hell out of me so I personally avoid it like the plague. This module involes virtually no maths (I would have to work very hard to find any maths in this). If you like business law and accounting theory, then this is something worth looking into.
