So far I was thinking about cyber security , supply chain management or accounting and finance?
Don't really understand the question. Best in what way?

How mediocre?
Hello @necessary-calaba,

Firstly, it's important to recognise that academic performance is not the only measure of one's potential for success. Everyone has unique strengths, and there are numerous degree options that can lead to fulfilling and successful careers.

Secondly, it is worth nothing that academic performance at school is not the sole predictor of future success, and it certainly does not define one's potential for academic or professional achievement. Those who face challenges in school often go on to excel in their chosen careers and fields of study.

If you have struggled to achieve top-grades in a traditional academic setting in the past, you may want to consider the flexibility offered by institutions such as LIBF, which offer future-focused skills development, and empowering, personalised support, anytime, anywhere, both part-time or full-time.

You can find further information on some of the above mentioned degrees, with useful insights into how to prepare for a degree in these subjects, curriculum, potential career paths, salary expectations and much more by checking out our study guides:

Hello there!

All three degrees—Cyber Security, Supply Chain Management, and Accounting and Finance—are excellent options, even if you consider yourself a mediocre student. Each field offers strong career prospects and practical learning opportunities, and your success will ultimately depend on your interest and dedication rather than your starting point.

Cyber Security: This is a high-demand field due to the growing need for data protection and secure systems across industries. It combines technical skills like programming and network security with problem-solving, making it ideal if you’re interested in technology. While challenging, it’s highly rewarding and offers roles like Cybersecurity Analyst, Penetration Tester, and Security Consultant.

Supply Chain Management: A versatile degree that focuses on logistics, operations, and resource management. It’s less technical than Cyber Security but still analytical, preparing you for roles in procurement, logistics, and operations management. This field is ideal if you enjoy problem-solving and want a degree with global career opportunities.

Accounting and Finance: A classic and respected choice with a focus on financial planning, management, and analysis. It’s a great option if you’re comfortable with numbers and enjoy structured learning. This degree can lead to stable and well-paying careers in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, and investment.

Each of these degrees has its unique challenges and benefits, so consider what aligns best with your interests and strengths. If you're willing to put in the effort and engage with the material, any of these fields can lead to a successful and rewarding career. Your passion and commitment will be the most significant factors in your success.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!
