Whoever your renting from (or via in the case of an agent) will have a set of documents they'll accept, so you really need to direct this question at them.
The more typical documents would be pay slips, but I don't see why they wouldn't accept bank statements if it's clear that the deposits are salary.

Usually they’d accept payslips, work contract or a letter from your employer. Ask the landlord/agency what they accept.
