A Level Mathematics Paper 5 exam was canceled, how will the grades be awarded?

CIE exam for A Level Mathematics Paper 5 that was scheduled at 10th May 2023 was canceled in Pakistan due to developing political tension in the country.

Under these circumstances, how will the grades be awarded? Will it be on the basis of the Paper 1 component or expected grades from schools?

I don't know what the exam board will choose to do but you can be sure that they will think it through and work out a solution so that candidates are not disadvantaged by something outside their control.
Friday's paper 3 was also cancelled. That means that about there will about 8500 fewer scripts to be marked this year.
