Personal Statement

hello! i am slightly struggling on how to organise and character-count my paragraphs. i understand that the character count is 4k, however, is there a suitable way of organising the worded paragraph count? for example, introduction would be 150 characters, achievements 400 characters and so on.

More importantly than the character count is the line count (around 37?)! It's a lot harder to stick to.

You're asking quite an arbitrary question here, there's no set structure on how many characters to spend on each 'section'. What are you applying for and where?

Don't stress about your personal statement. You'll be fine!

yeah really don't worry too much!! i totally was overthinking mine and trust me it doesn't help.

for now, i feel like you should just focus on writing as much as you can to fit 4,000 characters + then see if it fits 37 lines rather than concerning yourself too much of how many words should include specific things.

as long as you're writing why you want to study biomed + examples of things you've done which show this it'll be great!
