personal statement

how do you write a personal statement
Hi,
The best place to start when writing a personal statement is to look at some examples or possibly even tips from the university website that you're applying to.
Depending on the course or level of study you're applying for, you may want to cater your statement to make sure it best displays where you're currently at when you apply.
Most universities really just want to know about you and why you want to study with them. Think of it more as simply showing the universities what you're like before a possible interview.

Watch this short video - How to write your personal statement: the big do’s and don’ts - YouTube
Then read the written guide at the bottom of this page - "And for even more top tips." - Personal statement | University of Essex
That Essex guide is pretty good.
