Are awards in Intermediate challenges (achieved in Y11) worth mentioning on PS?
For context, I am applying to universities for Computer Science. Last year (in Y11) I got Silver in the UKMT and Gold in the BPHO, but I messed up this year's UKMT pretty badly. Is it worth mentioning Intermediate level achievements on my UCAS Personal Statement at all, or will it be glaringly obvious to universities that read my PS that I didn't achieve anything at all in Y12?

I think you should definitely mention your successes, it's something to be proud of and shows your capabilities! If it's the case that you struggled this year, you could talk about those challenges and how you could have changed the outcome, this would show your ability to reflect and also demonstrate a growth mindset.
