You could plot them in desmos to explore/understand a mark scheme, but
ai) you should be able to sketch tan(x) for x=0..2pi and hence write down the range and 2tan(x) is similar as its just a vertical scaling which hardly changes the sketch.
aii) sec is 1/cos. The range of cos is obviously -1..1 so what happens when you take its reciprocal?
